Hitchens & Sullivan with Russert

So, I'm bored tonight and watched these guys debate the Wright affair, Hillary and her Bosnia snafu and then McCain's view on Iraq. Overall impression: Andrew Sullivan swoons like a girl at a Hannah Montana over Obama. Good grief! Obama does have some faults, Sullivan might like to try for balance. Hitchen's bias against religion does cloud his vision over why Wright's message worked for so many. Anyway, the debate is interesting and worth watching from beginning to end if you have the time.

Some thoughts:

The Wright Affair--This is going to follow Obama in the general. It won't hurt him, hasn't hurt him with Dems, but the average voter will not appreciate the perceived (and real, I believe) anti-Americanism, forget the anti-White racism and Jew-hate.

Hillary Clinton is a liar and shamelessly exploits her ovaries to gain points. Hitchens correctly cites her self-pity and self-righteousness. Hillary is insufferable on so many levels. She and her husband are pathological liars on a quest for power. Absolute yuck. Contrast her to any other female leader--Benazar Bhutto, Margaret Thatcher, Indira Ghandi. Would you see those women weep in self-pity? No. Hillary sets women back.
