Actually, Zimbabwe (with its proper AFRICAN name) reminds me a lot of what my contact in Michigan tells me about Detroit. Detroit's in similar burned-out condition and its mayor is not only as crooked as Mugabe, he's got this Uber-Uber-AFRICAN name!
Note: Someone with an Uber-Uber-African name is usually NOT African. African immigrants usually Anglicize their personal names around outsiders. Even second-generation "Barry" Obama Himself used to do this.
