However, I use Firefox and don't have a problem with commenting.

Anon 3,

The leaker of the information Dick Armitage revealed himself. There is no question that he and Colin Powell should be interviewed for their "breech." Scooter Libby is being prosecuted for a conversation he doesn't remember and misspoke of again when questioned again.

Sometimes the outcome just isn't what political opponents hope for. Better luck next time.Melissa Clouthierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15864991953502438461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19646581.post-36305610177729694342007-02-13T15:38:00.000-06:002007-02-13T15:38:00.000-06:00You would think, from all this bloviating, that th...You would think, from all this bloviating, that the Bush administration did not seek to destroy the career of Joseph Wilson and punish him for debunking the Niger Yellowcake fairytale.

You would think, from all this bloviating, that the Bush administration did not destroy the career of a CIA agent, and in the process, depriving the United States of any further use of her spying expertise, plus endangering the lives her foreign contacts, who are ipso facto outed in their countries as CIA collaborators.

You would think, from all this bloviating, that there is no story here about the Bush administration lying to Congress and the American people about non-existent weapons of mass destruction.

Trial about nothing, indeed! President Clinton was impeached because he offered artfully stated but misleading replies to questions about oral sex, a matter that is the business of nobody but himself, his immediate family, and the other participant in the affair. On this silly pretext, our government tied itself in knots for months, but Dr. Melissa finds the Valerie Plame leak trial to be "about nothing." On the contrary, this trial is about issues that cut to the heart of the mendacity, incompetence, and fraudulence of the Bush administration, in a war that has undermined our security, and cost thousands of American lives, tens of thousands of American casualties, and hundreds of billions of dollars, all on credit to be paid for by our children and grandchildren.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19646581.post-60100548126857690772007-02-13T15:24:00.000-06:002007-02-13T15:24:00.000-06:00This software also sucks in that if one accidental...This software also sucks in that if one accidentally presses the Esc key while entering a comment, the comment reverts to the state it had the last time the user pasted into the comment field. In Mozilla Firefox, the graphic word does not appear, and clicking on the wheelchair logo has no effect. For that matter, clicking on the wheelchair logo on my system using Internet Explorer 7.0 results in a spurious dialog box that says "click to run an ActiveX control on this webpage" and when I dispatch that dialog box, a female voice reads a verification word consisting only of digits, voicing over an inscrutible male voice that sounds like a phonograph record playing backwards. (In contrast, the verification word in the graphic consists only of letters.)

And when I click "Preview" it does not preview my comment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
