Parents of Preemies Less Stressed with Education Program

This research correlates to de-stressed parent resulting in shorter preemie hospital stays for their babies. I'm always dubious when the data is gathered by "trained observers". But it does make sense that educated people, who feel more in control, will be less stressed.

Nothing but getting my son out of the flippin' hospital alive was going to reduce my stress. Four months of subservience to an ignorant hierarchy controlling my son's care, does not make for shiny, happy parent feelings.

You know how new mothers are extraordinarily aggressive to perceived threats? Let's just say I found my voice in the hallowed halls of medicine.
