I have no proof whatsoever, he could have caught an elbow on a basketball court or a softball on a field. Isn't it just so much more fun to speculate?
Oh, or it could be a bar brawl. Or, he could have anorexia. That seems to be the latest trend. Just giving this topic the gravitas it deserves.
UPDATE: Turns out Mr. Roberts had a "procedure" to remove some basal cell carcinoma spots on his face. It's never as sexy as you want it to be. Via Raw Story
I actually know a lady that used to hit her husband for snoring. We would see him with black and blue marks all the time. It took a while for us to find out why but he finally confided in us. Needless to say, they are now divorced...and of course three children are paying the price.
That is the question. Too bad they could not get any real help. So many people have such little faith in talk therapy. I am among those. It is sad because there are so many people who need help and real guidence in areas of their lives. What might the answer be?
Jack, Come on, now. I didn't know about the procedure when I wrote this thing and the whole blog post was about the silliness of drawing attention to such a little thing--i.e. "just giving this topic the gravitas it deserves."
Melissa, how in the world did you find out that the man had a procedure done to remove carcinoma spots? Did you call the station and talked with him??? :-)
I just find it disconcerting that no one here has shown the proper level of concern for Mr. Roberts' children! I mean really, isn't a child's life worth just as much as an adult?
You are too funny! :-)

What is the higher price? Having parents that abuse each other or having divorced parents that are no longer able to abuse each other?

ReplyDeleteFYI,
ReplyDeleteThis post was a spoof. I do not know, nor could I know if Roberts is getting tuned up by his wife. I was joking about the possibility.
Yes, of course that was understood. But it was funny!
ReplyDeleteMaybe he has had some plastic surgery??
ReplyDeleteDoesn't he strike you as a total pretty boy who does voice exercises in the mirror? The plastic surgery thing is the most plausible explanation yet.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's reall funny that someone has skin cancer, "Dr." Clouthier.
ReplyDeleteJack,

Are you trying to be obtuse, "Jack"?

ReplyDeleteMatthew, what about Mr.Robert's children. Did I miss something in the news about his kids?
