Secretary of Defense

I've said it before, I'll say it again: I HATE THE SENATE!!!! What a bunch of sanctimonious, bloviating, pompous blow-hards. What are they the House of friggin Lords? When Carl Levin asked the potential new Secretary of Defense, "Are we winning in Iraq?" I wanted to throw something at the radio. Pardon my French, but what an axxhole (no offense to all the perfectly functioning axxholes)!

Of course, the answer was a point blank, "No." This is the guy who will be directing our troops? Is Bush getting himself into a Colin Powell situation where he is being undercut by one of his closest and most important advisers?
