Autism Rates

The official number of autism cases: 1 per 150 children. That seems about right to me.

Extrapolating from the number of cases it found, the study suggested that some 560,000 Americans age 18 or under struggled with such disorders.

That's a lot of families, a lot of expense. That's a lot of anguish. It is something all Americans should worry about.
