Iran & Nuclear Power

Okay, so you have one of the world's richest supplies of crude. It's right there. It's cheap. It's available. So, you go out and build big windmills, solar panel plants and nuclear generators, right? Is there anyone in the (sane) world who believes Iran wants nuclear power for energy as opposed to creating bombs to blackmail, or heck, just blow to smithereens people who irritate the leadership on any given day?

Thought so. This problem is going to be solved soon and a lot of people will scream about the solution.
