No Child Left Behind

Criticism of the law abounds. Myself? I'm not particularily thrilled with the government taking on more than it needs to. But the public schools leave far too many children behind. Too many. What is the answer? Freeing up the market of course. What is the answer if that won't happen because self-interested Teachers Unions won't allow that? Repressively detailed instructions on how to do their job with severe consequences for failure. Will it work? Time will tell.
