Immigration Debate Settled: American Taxpayers Get to Pay!

Fear is almost ALWAYS a stupid motive for rational decision-making. The emotion fear is a self-protective mechanism to get one out of harms way. Fear saves your life. Generalized fear, anxiety, kills you.

The immigration legislation gets some lawmakers out of harm's way: will they be killed if they seal the border and enforce existing law? No. But they might not get the illegal immigrant vote and that would be bad--worse than dying.

What a bunch of self-interested, unprincipled jerks! Since Senators don't work real jobs, the reality of health care costs, social services, schooling etc. doesn't have to be paid by them. It's paid by you and me.
