Putting the Screws to Terrorists...

Literally. Looks like it was definitely torture (and the tips to snag the scum) that extracted the dastardly plot. Some are worried that the dude got "broken" under interrogation.

The human rights people worry about this development. Are you worried? Really, if it is your child or the terrorist, who would you prefer "broken"? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Jeff Goldstein muses on torture and pragmatism and notes that the supposed pragmatists who don't believe in any "transcendent truths" have problems being ..... pragmatic when the issue is real and not theoretical.
