The Hobbit: Coming Soon to a Theater Near You
It's almost midnight so I can post some irreverent, but very important news: Peter Jackson will be filming Tolkien's The Hobbit for MGM.

If Jackson puts the same quality and care into it as he did LOTR, this is going to be one class act.
I hope he can get the same actors for Bilbo, Gandalf, and Gollum (the major characters common to both sagas). And, for continuity, a cameo of Legolas when Bilbo, Thorin, & Co get jugged by Legolas's father the Elvenking.
Mmmmmm Legolas.
