Removing Ovaries: Not A Good Thing

New research shows what I've previously lamented: that taking a woman's ovaries is horrible for her health and vitality. She dies younger.

Imagine for a moment, if routine testicle removal were performed every time a man had "rage disorders" or had ill-health or the doctors couldn't figure out what else was wrong with him. How long would a man sit in his gown and say, "You know what, Doc? Removing my testicles is a wonderful idea! When do we schedule the procedure?"

And yet, routine ovary removal happens to women for those very reasons.
