Mac World Conference

I've been waiting for this thing to happen. I want/need a Mac laptop, but haven't wanted to buy one and have it obsolete five minutes later. That happened (kinda) with my iMac. The 24" came out two weeks after I bought the 20". Yes, I know. It's more than adequate, but when I buy something like this once every blue moon, I might as well spend $200 more for the bigger screen.

It's ads like this that give this nerdy girl jitters of excitement. Die-hard Windows (now Vista) people will snort in derision at my love of all things Mac, but truly I would not go back. You wouldn't believe how much simpler this computer is compared to my Dells and HPs and other Windows-based computers.
