Dog Daze

Our family is considering buying a dog. We've previously owned a Shih Tzu and a Lab-Chow-Greyhound mutt who was the best dog (besides shedding) in the world. Any suggestions?

We have an Italian Greyhound. Small, no doggy odor, very little shedding. She likes a quick walk, but then just wants to cuddle. The IG is a very good hot-weather dog, because of their short coat. However, being SO small, they can be rather yippy. I've been told that the Whippet (1 size up) is better in this regard. They also need to be on a leash or in a fenced yard, but they prefer to be in the house!

Standard poodles are wonderful dogs. And you don't have to clip them to look ridiculous.
