Shoebombers in America
There really might be a point to examining your shoes in the line to get on the plane. Does it make sense to have your kids remove their Crocs, though? What can fit in them? The screeners do find shoes, but let the Egyptian, Jordanian and Iraqi bombers meander through anyway.
