A Story Of Preemies

I thought I'd share this story with you guys. Eleven years ago this week, my premature twin boys were born. They were born at 24 weeks gestation. My surviving son is a testament to the miracles of modern technology and to miracles, period. I am thankful to God and I'm thankful to the doctors who take up this noble profession.

A Brief Moment In Time

Just for a brief moment I have come to touch your life.
Just for a brief moment I have come to teach you love.
Just for a brief moment you were my earthly parents.
I felt your love.
I felt your touch.
I felt your pain.
I felt your tears.

Just for a brief moment I was in body-form here with you.
It had its designed purpose of calling deep to deep.
This purpose had its place in vaster realms of existence.
Bringing about mysterious unfolding chosen by God.

I am still with you. Always!
In Light there is no darkness and all things are revealed.
I am a part of that Light and that Light is a part of you.
Be not afraid to look deeply into that Light -
It will make all things clear to you.
It will bring understanding.
It will bring acceptance and peace.
It will bring an abiding presence of love that will change you forever.

Thank you for your love.
Thank you for your prayers.

Be at peace! I will always love you.

Hard to believe that your boys are 11! Wishing you comfort and knowing that when you see your son again, he will be healthy and whole.

My little Leprechaun was born 14 years ago six weeks early and she is fit as a fiddle (and plays a mighty fine one too!).
