George Clooney Doesn't Like Soapboxes

Unless he's standing on it! Ann Althouse discusses the tiff between Arianna Huffington, the ever humble George Clooney and his hapless PR people. It seems that various and asundry Clooney quotes with conflicting messages managed to make it into one incisive Huffington post. Ms. Huffington huffs that she must be independent and unbullied by humble George and post what she wants and not some PR puffery. Is the blog real, if she publishes puff? (Some would argue that is all she does.)

Hmm... if a blog rants in the middle of a forest and no one reads it, is it a blog?

Some days, I'm a blog and some days I'm a puff of hot air and most days I'm both. Oh my, this is such an existential crisis.
