Resistence is NOT Futile

Over at the Volokh Conspiracy, David Kopel writes about the Jews who resisted the Nazis. He posits that all potentially threatened minorities should arm themselves. He believes that those who fought and died (they had a much better mortality rate than those who submitted and ended up shot, gassed or enslaved or all of the above) at least died honorably.

His arguments at least tangentially relate to my posts on evil. His case bolsters the idea that fighting injustice is not only necessary for survival at times, but the moral thing to do--even if that means killing an agent of the evil side to do it.
