CBS Tribute to FDNY More Compelling Than ABC's Docudrama

Irritated by ABC's hyped, maligned, feared docudrama, I got....bored. So I went over to CBS which had intense footage, emotional interviews and ended with hope. A fitting tribute to the brave men and women firefighters, police and NY citizens who rose to the occasion to help their fellow man.

ABC's piece reminds me how inept our government is and how lucky we have been not to be hit again. One thing it has brought home, is how our laws work for citizens of democracy but they don't work with scumbag terrorists intent on exploiting our freedom.

If Democrats try to opine about civil liberties (which they will) after people see how their pie-in-the-sky notions affect on-the-ground decision-making and sell their view they will have an even steeper hill to climb.

We watched the CBS special about the firefighters and it was like re-living it all over again. The shock, the horror...unbelieveable!!!

We fear that an attack will come again. The news this evening once again spoke of WWIII. What will we see this coming year?
