Seth Godin: You Can't Say, "You Can't Play"
I love that quote. Godin talks about a late, great Kindergarten teacher who taught his kids that motto. You can't say, "You can't play."
That would eliminate a lot of ignorant meanness in the elementary years, wouldn't it? Often times, children just don't understand how hurtful some actions can be--unless they are on the receiving end of them.
