Support A Soldier, Buy His Poetry Book

Iraq and Afghanistan will produce a generation of artists. Every war has their own. My favorite author, J.R.R. Tolkien is a soldier-poet and writer. Would he have written the same lyrical prose without his war experience? We'll never know, but some how I doubt it.

Our current soldier-poet is Brian Turner. I haven't read his work yet, but I sure do plan to. I'll let you know. In the meantime, order his book and let me know what you think.
