Barrish, the Colorado Geography Teacher, Imparting His Brand of Wisdom

Update: Here is what Walter Williams has to say about this.

This morning listening to Roger Hitchcock on the radio, I heard exerpts of this outrageous rant by a public school Geography teacher in Colorado. You really have to hear/read it to believe it.

Michelle Malkin, while suffering in travel hell in Denver (the very same thing happened to my friend taking a United flight through Denver and Dallas to here in Houston last week--what is wrong with this airline?) has decided to transcribe the whole thing. Listen and/or read it all.

The extreme leftists among us will be delighted that those who actually pay taxes are paying for the anti-capitalists beloved dogma and that it's being poured into impressionable minds. This is what is so blasted angering: this smug little cretin spewing anti-American values does so from the comfort of a tax-paid-for job which comes from hard-working people who pay HIS SALARY through free-market capitalism! Give me a break! If this Imperialistic, hypocritical, Gestapo-led nation offends him so, why does he maintain his safe, free, rich little life here instead of going to the countries he lauds?

Jay Barrish is welcome to his lame-brained opinions. He is welcome to write letters to the editor. He is welcome to march all over God's green earth. He is welcome to vote. He is welcome to protest. He's welcome to do all kinds of this that this Land of the Free allows him to do, but he needs to do it on his own time. He needs to stick to the subject of Geography or get the heck out of teaching...or better yet, get his PhD where he can spew his venom at college students and get the orgiastic self-congratulations that exists in the ranks of true "Intelligentsia".
