John Fund on Yale's "Special" Student

Have you heard about Yale accepting the former Taliban spokesman--the guy who can't find it in his heart today to acknowledge the atrocities done by that regime in Afghanistan? His name is Sayed Rahmuttulah Rashemi (aren't we all getting good at Middle Eastern names? Sigh) and he defended the Taliban's barbaric practices and yet somehow received State Department and Yale University clearance to receive a Western education.

Are these people insane? Perhaps the ideology at Yale is so sympathetic with Mr. Rashemi's that it's no big deal. But for the people fighting and dying for those wronged by the Taliban, including Americans who could dream about but never enter those hallowed halls, it's outrageous.
