Heat Coach Pat Riley Defines Leadership

Truly great leaders are few and far between. People willingly follow daunting missions when following a vision laid out in terms that imbue life with meaning. Anything less is a job. That's why Washington, Lincoln, Churchill, Reagan, Guiliani and even guys like Riley are so loved. They help people believe in something greater than themselves. They get people to work for an idea. Those leaders always win, and even if they lose, the idea lives on.

Amen to this post! I love seeing a "true" leader. It inspires me and gives me courage more then anything I can think of.
