People Are Socially Isolated

Me so lonely. I guess I'm not the only one. Suddenly, I don't feel so alone....or lonely. I think my social isolation desolation frustration is cured.

Growing up in Europe, I've noticed a vast difference in "social interaction" in this country. People in Europe will sit at side walk cafes for hours chatting. People will have family or friends over on weekends for hours to visit with. In this country, people get uncomfortable if its more then a couple of hours.

This article that you linked here was an eye opener for me. I had no clue it was this wide spread.

Our society is running so fast 24/7 we don't take the time to get to know our neighbors. I know a family that have gone to a church for over 3 years and are still not included for dinners etc with other families. Its too bad.
