Hurricane Dean Looks Mean

Houston survived the drenching today although parts of town flooded. Still watching Hurricane Dean gather strength. Two of the predictions have it heading to the Texas coast. The historical map has no hurricanes ever coming this way. Do those matter? I need to ask Brendan Loy that.

No matter, start yer preparations, people!

The grocery store was busy, quiet and efficient. Water displays were up everywhere. It will get more serious this weekend, especially if Dean looks intent on visiting us.
